RapidStart CRM Addons

Our RapidStart CRM has been wildly successful, reaching over 100,000 users so far. Even though every business is unique RapidStart CRM has proven to be an excellent starting point for any business.

Over the years, we have built some Addons to extend the capabilities of RapidStart CRM for some typical workloads. Things like Project Management, Time Tracking, Field Service management, etc.

In addition, several third parties have created RapidStart Addons for their products, like emfluence and DBSync, to name a couple of which you can learn about here.

But we still get asked frequently about an addon for this or that, and I am sure, as a RapidStart user, you have some ideas also. One option is for our team to custom-build something specifically for you, but that could get a little expensive. We can’t justify the expense internally except in rare cases. So we have a new idea.

Crowdsourcing

Kickstarter is probably the best-known brand to implement Crowdsourcing. The idea is to take something that could be costly and have it funded by many people. So we thought maybe this could work for RapidStart CRM addons as well. Identify something that several people may want, and have them split the cost of building it equally. These folks participate in the design process and, in the end, receive a perpetual license to use the addon at no additional cost. Will it work? You tell me!

RapidStart CRM is built on Microsoft’s Dataverse, the foundation of the Power Platform and Dynamics 365. This means that RapidStart CRM Plus is just as customizable as any of Microsoft’s first-party applications, like Dynamics 365 Sales, for example. We designed RapidStart CRM as a basic Sales and Service app “accelerator”. While it is a fully functioning app, it is the starting point for much more for many.
